2013 NBA All-Star Game schedule: Live streaming online coverage of media day

The 2013 NBA All-Star game schedule is underway with live streaming online coverage of media day to take place on Friday, Feb. 14. There will be media coverage presented on NBA TV just an hour before the online streaming event goes forth as well.

A report from SLAM Online on Feb. 13 breaks down the details of the upcoming media day. The event starts on Friday, Feb. 15 at 1:30 p.m. EST and allows fans to watch live online interviews with the NBA All-Stars. Among those starring in this year's game are Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade and Kevin Garnett.

Fans and viewers can RSVP for the event at the official site. Questions can be sent in via tweets on Twitter ahead of the media day coverage. Other features of the live stream online coverage include the ability to choose one of four cameras to switch between which player is being asked questions and a live chat alongside the streaming feed. There will also be behind-the-scenes photos, and much more available.

NBA.com has also reported that as of Feb. 14 NBA TV will air exclusive interviews with NBA legends, Michael Jordan, Bill Russell, and Charles Barkley. These interviews will begin starting at 8 p.m. EST on NBA TV's All-Star Monday, Feb. 18.

Meanwhile, a host of televised events will be arriving on Friday including the 2013 Rising Stars Challenge, and then on Saturday with big contests like the Taco Bell Sckills Challenge, Foot Locker Three-Point Contest and the Sprite Slam Dunk. The 2013 NBA All-Star Game and the other events mentioned will be televised on TNT, via Cox Cable, DISH Network, DirecTV and other cable or satellite providers.
