According to Christian Today on Aug. 28, MTV is continuing to present the full awards show online. The on demand replay consists of back-to-back clips from the show of the performances, award presentations and more. The 30th edition of the show featured a Justin Timberlake reunion with his boy band NSync, as well as Miley Cyrus "tweaking" and suggestively dancing with Robin Thicke during his performance of "Blurred Lines." Lady Gaga opened the show with her new song "Applause," while Katy Perry closed it with "Roar." There was no featured host this year, although Kevin Hart did some standup routines throughout.
The 2013 MTV Video Music Awards featured live streaming online coverage of various sections from around the Barclay's Arena in Brooklyn, NY. The video feeds showed various sections of the audience, backstage, a "Thank You" cam and more. Some even captured big moments backstage, including Lady Gaga rushing backstage to comfort One Direction after they were booed on stage for winning an award.
