Judging from the plethora of comments I received from the voters in Montana, there may not be a more popular referee in the entire world than Sweet Tweet. Want proof? Here you go......

"This woman is the best damn head ref you could ever ask for! Her love and passion for the game makes playing that much more enjoyable for the skaters that are bouting. Her knowledge of the game, the rules, every aspect of the sport is amazing. It is people like Sweet Tweet that are going to help this sport grow and thrive. "What a ref! This lady has taken the time out of her life to make sure she is up to snuff with the ever changing derby rules. She's fair, honest and, really good at catching the little stuff. Keep it up Sweet Tweet!" - Anonymous

"One of the most knowledgeable and fair refs I've ever had the pleasure of skating with. She's so helpful when it comes to rule questions and strategics. Never one to turn away a question, if she doesn't know the answer (which is rarely ever), she will find out! She does a great job at bouts and practices, and we are very fortunate to have such an amazing officiator!" - Lethal Lizzie

"She travels the state of Montana and Wyoming any chance she gets to as head ref. She is fair and very knowledgable on the rules. She will help a league anyway she can." - Scary Keri

"Sweet Tweet is a fantastic, rules-knowledgeable head ref who takes the time to listen to the coaches feedback from both teams and make sure the game is played fairly and safely for all." - Angel-a Darkness

"She always takes the time to answer our questions in a way that we understand. She is not only a great ref, but an amazing, giving person. When I broke my collarbone I had to have my pads cut off. She surprised me with a new set once I was able to skate again. Not to mention she brought me my purse, stayed in the hospital with me, offered to drive me back to MT, and picked up my medicine, so I could just go back to the hotel and rest. What an Amazing women." - Lippy

"Sweet Tweet is an invaluable part of Montana's, and surrounding area's, Roller Derby. She is known for her skills and competency as a ref." - Anonymous

"This women is fierce when it comes to playing by the rules. She makes sure each team understands her expectations so nothing is a surprise." - Anonymous

"Ref of the year is without a doubt Sweet Tweet. C'mon Elwood who else could it be?? She is in the dictionary under integrity. She is a derby encyclopedia and loves the sport with all her heart. I think she snacks on bearings for breakfast and I know she studies the rule book in a bubble bath (now that's leisure). She is without a doubt the go to person for anything derby related. Her dedication to doing things right has made a huge impact on derby in Montana." - Elbow Derek

"She is always fair and impartial! Know the rules like the back of her hand. She will travel in Rain, Sleet or snow to go officiate a bout. Always willing to help a league out! Watches game footage to see how the officials did including herself!" - Scary Keri
