Week 3 of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series rolls into fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada for the 2013 Kobalt Tools 400. Last week Jimmy Johnson's bid to make it two wins in a row to start the 2013 season fell just short as he finished in second place in the Subway Fresh Fit 500 behind Carl Edwards.
According to the March 6, Las Vegas Sun, Johnson is once again the favorite to win this week at the Kobalt Tools 400, and why not. Johnson has that look - the look of wanting the Sprint Cup title back once again.
Right now Johnson leads Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and last year's Sprint Cup champ Brad Keselowski by 8 points in the overall standings. The season is still very young, but right now Johnson seems ready to take control.
The 2013 Kobalt Tools 400 gets underway this Sunday, March 10 at 3:00 p.m. EST.
