2013 Golden Globes Red Carpet Photos, Fashions & Designers
Quirky comedy darling Zooey Deschanel looked like red carpet perfection in her cherry-red Oscar de la Renta. Zooey's strapless gown had a sweetheart neckline and a full skirt. The starlet wore film-themed nail art on her manicure and a string of simple pearls around her neck. Of all the starlets who wore red tonight, Zooey Deschanel may have done it best.
Actress Amy Adams chose a flesh-toned mermaid gown by Marchesa, the color of which she described as "ballet pink". Amy topped her look off with gold pumps.
"Girls" star Lena Dunham may win Best Actress in a Comedy/Musical at the 2013 Golden Globes tonight, but we don't see her ending up on any Best Dressed lists with the poorly-structured brown dress she donned for Sunday's awards show. Though Lena is a cute girl, the overall effect of her look was underwhelming and will no doubt be ripped apart on Fashion Police.
"Smash" actress Katharine McPhee stunned in a slinky black satin gown that featured a squared-off plunging neckline, but it may have been Claire Danes of "Homeland" who most impressed us. Just a month after giving birth, Claire Danes showed up on the 2013 Golden Globes red carpet in a coral-sunset fitted Versace with clever ruching at the faux-wrap waist. The dress also featured a sexy slit up the leg. Claire finished her look with matching red heels.
Julianne Hough looked like a princess Sunday night, wearing one of the evenings mini-trends: white-and-gold. Julianne chose a golden-flecked Monique Lhuillier ballgown, but finished her hair in a slightly-edgier (though still fully-feminine) faux-hawk updo.
This is just a small fraction of the celebrity styles spotted at the Globes Sunday afternoon. Flip through our 2013 Golden Globes red carpet photos above and find your favorites!
