The Best Actress nominee Emily Blunt for ‘Salmon Fishing in the Yemen’ must have been subconsciously channeling the Globe’s statue when she selected her embroidered, metallic gold Michael Kors gown and Ferragamo clutch. However, she offset her muted gold dress with bold Lorraine Schwartz fuchsia earrings and matching bracelet- the perfect color contrast. A simple bun kept her look sleek and sophisticated.

Lea Michele never shies away from a leg-baring look, as exemplified here in her shimmery high-slit gown by Elie Saab highlighting an intricate floral beading detail. The Glee starlet chose to accessorize her look with gorgeous emerald-and-diamond earrings, a matching bracelet, and strappy sandals. Her emerald diamond bracelet and matching earrings were perfect color combination to really make her white dress pop.

Julianne Moore was chic in a Tom Ford black and white dress paired with the iconic Bulgari Serpenti gold vintage snake cuff bracelet in yellow gold with emeralds and diamonds and an 18k yellow gold emerald ring.

Jessica Alba let her necklace do the talking at the Golden Globes, opting for a stunning diamond necklace by Harry Winston worth $5.8 million which likely made her the most guarded star of the evening. She wore a coral silk faille trumpet gown from the pre-fall 2013 Oscar de la Renta collection. The married mother of two completed her look with Harry Winston's platinum and round diamond stud earrings and a platinum and pear-shaped diamond cluster ring and carried a Roger Vivier clutch.

Modern Family’s Ariel Winter accessorized her wind-swept updo with a turquoise-embellished headband by Jennifer Behr to match her sweet-enough-to-eat sorbet dress by Valentino. A jeweled headband will help add a pop of sparkle and shine to any hairdo.

Best Actress nominee Marion Cotillard also brought a twist to the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. Like Jennifer Lawrence, the ‘Rust and Bone’ star wore Christian Dior Couture. But her asymmetrical, blood-orange dress, clipped up to her knee on one side, was a far more casual entrance. Her pointy stiletto heels were spot on perfect (also Dior). With simple, straight hair and barely there makeup, the French actress went au naturale.

The beautiful Thandie Newton was sporting a gorgeous embellished Giles spring 2013 cocktail dress with Swarovski crystals. She teamed her look with voluminous hair, pale pink satin clutch, and ankle-strap sandals.

Katharine McPhee also strutted her stuff in style on the red carpet on Sunday. She turned on the sex appeal in a black satin Theyskens’ Theory spring 2013 gown. The ‘Smash’ star accented her seductive ensemble with subtle bangles, a structured Oroton ‘Society’ clutch, and sexy sky-high heels with a clear front strap. A high messy bun, nude lips and smoky eye make this look a true stunner.

The award for knockout clutch of the night had to go to Hayden Panettiere, who added a pop of bubble gum pink to her outfit with a snakeskin print handbag by Kotur and Forevermark diamonds. The nominated ‘Nashville’ actress wore a blush pink Roberto Cavalli gown with intricate ruched detailing and an understated mermaid fit.
