Given the success of last year's inaugural Firefly Music Festival, which included headliners The Black Keys and Jack White, it's no surprise that the line-up that was announced this morning for this year's festival is even better.
Artists performing at this year's three-day festival, taking place from June 21st-23rd at the Woodlands of Dover International Speedway in Dover, Delaware, include headliners Red Hot Chili Peppers and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. But it's the strength of the secondary acts, which include The Avett Brothers, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Alabama Shakes, Public Enemy, Crystal Fighters, Ellie Goulding and Imagine Dragons, that will give the headliners a run for their money.
A limited supply of tickets will be available at the early bird pricing rate ($198 for a three-day pass) on Thursday, February 21st. Those are expected to sell out very quickly.
Once the early bird pricing rate sells out, tickets will immediately become available for purchase at the advance pricing rate ($218 for a three-day pass). Additionally, anyone who purchases their 2013 Firefly pass on February 21st before 11:59pm EST will be entered for a chance to win one of 20 free VIP upgrades.
