For a fun family adventure in the fall of 2013, visit Pumpkinville, located at 4844 Sugartown Rd. in Great Valley, just minutes away from Ellicottville and Holiday Valley Resort. Pumpkinville is open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. starting Saturday, September 14th through Thursday, October 31st.
Pumpkinville features hayrides, “pumpkin jumpin’ pillows,” a corn maze, gem mining, a corn-cannon shoot, and more (some charges apply – visit website for complete details). There are also a variety of harvest treats available at Pumpkinville’s shops: the Choose-Your-Own-Pumpkin Patch, the Antique Cider Mill, Di’s Pies and Bake Shoppe, the Pumpkinville Grill, and the Bounty Barn featuring homemade fudge. You’ll enjoy specialties like pumpkin donuts, pumpkin ice cream, and old fashioned kettle corn, and you can take home fall décor, craft items and painted pumpkins from the various shops on premise.
Pumpkinville hosts the Pink Pumpkin Festival Weekend on Saturday and Sunday, September 21st and 22nd (purchase a pink pumpkin and a donation will be made to the WNY Susan G. Koman Association), while Fall Festival Weekend is Friday, October 12th through Monday, October 14th (Columbus Day weekend). Group trips and class field trips are available.
