The Medina Railroad Museum, located at 530 West Ave. in Medina, has a number of fall foliage runs and Halloween trains scheduled for October that would be a great fall family outing or a fun night for couples.
Fall Foliage Excursion Trains will run Wednesdays, October 9th, 16th and 23rd, plus Sunday, October 20th. Trains leave the museum at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., except for October 9th, which leaves at 10 a.m. Additional dates departing from 5 Gooding St. in Lockport at 2 p.m. include Sunday, October 6th and Saturday and Sunday, October 12th and 13th. Tickets are $22 for adults, $20 for seniors, $15 for children ages 2 to 17, and free for children under 2; fares include Museum admission as well.
The Medina Railroad Museum will also host Halloween Trains this year, on Saturday, October 19th and Friday and Saturday, October 25th and 26th. These adult-themed Fright Nights will feature hors d’oeuvres, live music and wines and microbrews. Tickets are $35 per person for coach tickets and $52 for first class tickets; this is a 21-and-over event.
