Two area farms will be opening for fall festivals soon – Becker Farms and Kelkenberg Farm.
Take a ride to Gasport and take advantage of the fall fun at Becker Farms, located at 3760 Quaker Rd. Fall festivals and haunted hayrides await people of all ages.
The annual Pumpkin Fiesta takes place Saturdays and Sundays from September 15th through October 28th from noon to 5 p.m. each day. The Fiesta features live music, duck and pig races, pony rides, hayrides, the Becker Mountain slide, and a corn maze. Kids and adult ticket pricing information can be found here.
The Haunted Hayrides take place Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, October 18th through 20th and October 25th through 27th from 7 to 9 p.m. (weather permitting). The Castle Labyrinth maze leads you to the Haunted Hayride – if you can find your way. If you survive, take a walk through Phylotec Biogenetic Testing Station and check out the terrifying man-eating monsters created during an experiment gone horribly wrong. Tickets are $9 – group rates are also available.
