Frightworld returns for its 12th season to scare Buffalonians with its unique brand of haunting. Located at 2309 Eggert Rd. (corner of Sheridan Dr. and Niagara Falls Blvd.) in Tonawanda for the 2013 season, Frightworld features five haunted houses spread across thousands of square feet.
Previously voted one of the best haunted attractions in the country, this Eerie Productions haunt allows visitors to explore all five haunted houses under one roof (the entire attraction is indoors). Returning this year are Grindhouse, Phobiaz and Death Trap; there are also two new attractions this year: Eerie State Asylum and Condemned.
Pre-sale tickets are $17 for all five haunted houses, or $25 for the VIP Frightpass, and are available at the website listed below; on opening night – Friday the 13th – admission is just $13 for all five houses. At the door, rates will be $25 for general admission or $33 for the VIP Frightpass. Group rates are also available – check the website listed below for information on registering your group. Frightworld is open Fridays and Saturdays, September 13th and 14th, September 21st and 22nd and September 28th and 29th, plus various nights afterward through November 2nd (various dates and times –click here for the schedule). $3 off admission coupons are available at participating NOCO Express, Wendy’s, Party City, Regal Cinemas, Fantastic Sam’s, Dunkin Donuts, Coca-Cola distributors, and Oogie Games.
