Super Bowl commercials that feature pets always do well. The 2013 Doritos Crash the Super Bowl ad, "Fetch" is about a small dog who does a great job at fetching things for his owner, but things don't go according to the owner's plans.
With over 380,000 views on YouTube, this commercial is not leading the pack. There are five finalists and "Fetch" seems to be getting the least attention. "Goat 4 Sale" and "Road Chip" are attracting the most attention this year.
In "Fetch" (video below) a man is checking out the cover of Maxim magazine and asks the dog to fetch him some Doritos. The dog barks and the chips appear.
The man then asks for a bag of Doritos and the dog complies.
Things go wrong when the man stares at the beautiful model on the Maxim cover and asks the dog to fetch a "bare naked...." Before he can complete his request, the dog bars and a giant grizzly bear appears in his living room. Oops. That's bare, not bear, Fido!
Will this Doritos commercial win the 2013 Crash the Super Bowl ad contest? Not likely due to the low number of views it has on YouTube, but fans won't know until Doritos announces the big $1 million winner.
