2013 Cyber Monday deals include Kindle Fire HD tablets, laptops & HDTVs

The 2013 Cyber Monday deals have been unleashed by various retailers online, as the annual shopping day arrived on Dec. 2. Among the coveted items that many shoppers are finding for sale on various websites are the Kindle Fire HD tablets, laptops, large HDTVs, video games, toys, appliances and much more. Along with attractive free-shipping incentives, customers are finding it more convenient than the brawls taking place around the country during Black Friday.

According to a Wall Street Journal press release on Dec. 2, the major deal that Amazon released early Monday morning featured two of their 7-inch Kindle Fire tablets, the HD and the HDX 16GB models at $50 off each. That brings the Kindle Fire HD 16GB to $119, and the Kindle Fire HDX to just $179. As of this report, the HD model sold out all of the limited quantities, with the HDX still going strong with customers grabbing the deal as quick as possible.

Amazon Kindle Vice President Neil Lindsay said of the sale:

"The new Fire tablets are the best tablets we've ever built--the reviews from press and the feedback from customers has been overwhelmingly positive. We're excited to be able to offer $50 off Kindle Fire HDX 7" and the all-new Kindle Fire HD 16GB for Cyber Monday."

Of course that is just one deal Amazon offers, as the online web retailer also has deals in many other categories. Other “Deal of the Day” specials include a Canon PowerShot A2600 IS 16.0 MP digital camera for $59 and 50% off “Top Toys” from Mattel and Fisher-Price. Additionally, the website continues to offer lower prices on HDTVs from manufacturers like Samsung, Panasonic and LG, as well as 30% or more off various laptops, and 20% or more off various tablets. For example, a Lenovo IdeaPad S400 14.0-Inch Touchscreen Laptop was just $379.99 during today’s time-limited deals.

Amazon also offers DVDs and Blu-rays at a discount, for shows like “The Good Wife,” “Criminal Minds” and movies such as “The Matrix Trilogy.” There’s also video game deals to be had, and there will continue to be all week long. Some of the games available at reduced prices are “Madden NFL 25,” “Grand Theft Auto V,” and “Batman: Arkham Origins” for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

The Cyber Deals Week will continue all week-long at Amazon, and it’s also expected that various retailers will keep bringing out deals in the coming weeks leading up to the Christmas and holiday season.
