Conference USA announced their 2013 football dates on Thursday which is an exciting time for UTSA who continues their big step up in the college football world.
C-USA will feature 14 teams split in to two seven team divisions with each team playing all six in-division opponents and two teams from the other division.
UTSA have been placed in the West Division alongside Louisiana Tech, North Texas, Rice, Tulane, Tulsa and UTEP.
UTSA’s home in-division games will be against Rice (10/12), Tulane (11/9) and Louisiana Tech (11/30) while playing UTEP (9/21), Tulsa (11/2) and North Texas (11/23) on their road in-division games.
UTSA will play UAB in their home non-division came on October 26th with their non-division road game being at Marshall on October 5th.
UTSA will also play non-conference games on the road against New Mexico (8/31) and Arizona (9/14) while currently leaving October 19th and November 14th vacant.
Those vacancies could well change but UTSA have quite a mixed schedule with a number of really difficult teams but a couple of really winnable games, the fans will be excited for Rice at home while UTSA officials would probably have preferred more in-state rivals at the Alamodome.
