In 2013 both Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland Resort in California are planning extra magic for their guests. It is called Limited Time Magic. On Fridays the magic for the coming week will be announced. It will start on Monday and end the following Sunday. Most of the time the Walt Disney World magical event will be different than the one at Disneyland, although they might sometimes be the same.
The events will be different each week. It could be special entertainment or a limited time pin might be announced. There will be souvenirs, special food items and other surprises.
Disney has also proclaimed 2013 "Year of the Ear". They plan to introduce new hats, headbands or mouse ears once a month. They are limited edition so if you see one for sale while in a park you will want to pick it up right away. They might not still have them if you wait.
