2013 Black Friday and Thanksgiving night shopping hours are starting to surface as holiday shoppers start planning where to go to score the best doorbuster deals of the season.
Kohl's, Macy's, Walmart, JCPenney and Target are hotspots when it comes to shopping for Black Friday deals and retailers are starting to release their store opening times weeks before the biggest shopping event of the year.
Here's what we know so far:
Kohl's: Doors open at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving, Nov. 28, 2013. The store will stay open for 28 hours, from 8 p.m. Thursday until Friday, Nov. 29, at midnight.
Macy's: Most Macy's stores will open at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving night. See a preliminary list of doorbuster deals here.
Walmart: Last year the retail giant opened at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving in 2012, two hours earlier than the previous year. Expect the same this year, although that is not confirmed.
JCPenney: Store opening time last year was 6 a.m. on Friday. No word on what time the store will open this year, but they've already announced that they are giving away Disney snow globes.
Target: No announcement from this popular retailer yet, but there's rumor that Target will compete with Walmart and other retailers and open up on Thanksgiving night.
Expect all of the Black Friday ad scans from major retailers to surface by the first week of November.
