Don't look now NCAA football fans, but we are just days away from the 2013-14 season! Yes it may be hard to believe but according to CBS sports on Aug. 26, the Big Ten, along with a handful of other games officially kicks off the season this Thursday night.
The big question coming out of the Big Ten is can anyone compete with the Ohio State Buckeyes in 2013?
Las Vegas odds makers have OSU as the overwhelming favorite to win this year’s Big 10 Championship. It seems that Urban Meyer has the world by a string as most experts have already penciled in Ohio State vs. Alabama in this year’s BCS Championship game.
Ohio State is stacked on offense, and will have a chip on their shoulder after going undefeated last season but not being able to participate in a NCAA Bowl game due to violations.
Nevertheless, championships aren’t won on paper, and the odds of OSU going undefeated again this year aren't as good as last season. It takes a lot to go undefeated in a season. Skill, talent and also you have to get a lot of breaks along the way.
Right now on paper, every team is 0-0 and they all have their eyes on the Big Ten prize.
