The 2013 Big East Tournament bracket schedule is down to the finals, and NCAA Championship Week is almost over. However that was just the beginning as hoops fans now will gear up for the March Madness Tournament.
In Big East play last, the third time was a charm for the Syracuse Orangemen as they finally defeated the Georgetown Hoyas 58-55 in overtime last night in game one of the Big East semi-finals.
Syracuse lost both regular season match-ups vs. Georgetown this season, but got sweet revenge in the Big East Tournament.
The Orange will face the Louisville Cardinals in what should be a great Big East final.
The Cardinals defeated Notre Dame 69-57 and are playing some of the best basketball in the country. Coming into the Big East Championship, the Cards are riding a 9 game winning streak and have won 12 of their last 13 games overall.
The Las Vegas line on this game has Louisville favored at -4 and the over/under set at 124.
My earlier prediction was Louisville beating Georgetown for the Big East crown. The good news is, I believe I still picked the right team, just vs. a different opponent.
