As one of the biggest events of the year in Hollywood, many starlets and style elites were trotting their best-dressed couture attire on the Red Carpet. (And also the best advertising platform for all the brands!) Here's the best dressed ladies of the night. Have a browse through the slideshow above.
Michelle Dockery, the Brit starlet opted for the statuesque gold and cream coloured gown from Alexandre Vauthier. It was a very elegant choice that reflects well on her Downton character. She kept her accessories minimal with just a gold clutch, earrings, and a bangle to complete her look.
Isla Fisher looked absolutely stunning in the clear jeweled beige gown from Reem Acra. It wasnt her boldest choice of colour, but it made her hair pops even more and with that natural make up. Fisher looked very elegant yet bordering plain-Jane though.
Kate Hudson chose the Alexander McQueen black and gold halter neck gown for the evening. She looked absolutely stunning although I think she could have gone for a little more primrose on her lips or blush to add a bit more colour to her face. The belted waistline with gold embellishments highlighted her petite figure and her dark gold square clutch completed her ensemble. Just wish she would put her hair up to show off a bit more of that lovely gold details around the neckline.
The forever long Dior brand ambassador, Marion Cotillard has never gone wrong on the carpet. She always keeps it minimal, elegant in black and white and this time, in bright orange hues. This Christian Dior number reminded me a little Lanvin, but nevertheless, she polished it off with a crisp clean look with a straight part down-the-middle blow out.
Nicole Richie wore a floral embroided baby blue sequined long-sleeved floor-length gown by Naeem Khan. It didn't seem like it would be her top choice, completely covered up and all. The only thing that saved this outfit was her rocker purse with the dangly chains.
Anne Hathaway gave a very graceful and elegant entrance in this Chanel Couture white gown. Especially with her short cuts, it even emphasized all her facial features and a clean fresh look.
The best Zac Posen of the night I vote was on Naomi Watts and she has tails! Amazing. The look was perfect, with the right red box in her hands, a Gatsby inspired hairdo and her golden locks - the colour palette of her ensemble was just right. She looked divine.
And... The best dressed of the night goes to Jessica Alba. By far she wore the outfit of the evening, dressed in Oscar de la Renta tangerine silk gown. Her lipstick goes great with her coral soft tangerine colour. Her wavy effortless hairdo completed her look... and we can't forget the $5.8 million dollars Harry Winston she wore on her neck - that might have just won me over.
