The 2013 Beale Street Music Festival is delivering the best lineup this city has seen in many years. Acts will perform across four stages in Tom Lee Park on May 3-5.
The festival will kick off Friday, May 3 with performances by Hall and Oates, Sheryl Crow, the Wallflowers, Alice in Chains, and Bassnectar. On Saturday, May 4, the festival will host the legendary ZZ Top and Jerry Lee Lewis, as well as performances by Dwight Yoakam, the Roots, Patti Smith, and Mavis Staples. Fresh off of two 2013 Grammy wins, the Black Keys will also perform as a headlining act Saturday night.
The festival will conclude Sunday, May 5 with performances by the Smashing Pumpkins, Lucero, Public Enemy, the Flaming Lips, and hot new band Vintage Trouble. Festival staples the Black Crowes, back together after a two-year hiatus, will also perform on Sunday night.
