The 2012-13 NFL playoff schedule gets underway this weekend and this may be one of the wildest Wild Card rounds we have seen in a long time.
If most NFL fans were asked back in October who would win this weekend’s AFC playoff match-ups, it would have been the Texans and Ravens hands down. Well a lot has changed since Halloween.
The Houston Texans were labeled the team to beat in the AFC after an incredible 11-1 start. However after losing three of their last four games and losing the overall No. 1 seed to the Denver Broncos in Week 17 many experts are wondering how good the team really is.
The Baltimore Ravens also got off to a great start in 2012. The Ravens were 9-2 after Week 11, but that’s when the bottom fell out. Baltimore lost four of their last five games and right now they look far from being a shoe-in to win this week vs. the Colts.
So who will advance to the divisional rounds next weekend from the AFC?
Let’s get to the picks!
We finished the regular season with a bang, going 4-1 vs. the Las Vegas spread in Week 17 and closing out the regular season well above .500, but now its playoff time!
Final year to date:
- Picks of the week: 48-35-1
- MNF: 7-3-0
- Detroit Lions 9-4-1
- Total 63-38-1*
*Even though the wins should equal 64, one pick of the Lions in the weekly can't be counted twice on the regular Lions picks.
