2013 ACC Tournament Championship: North Carolina vs. Miami; Las Vegas odds, pick

The 2013 ACC Tournament championship game takes place today when the North Carolina Tarheels take on the surprising Miami Hurricanes from Greensboro, N.C.

The Tarheels were being over looked by many experts this season, but the have once again found themselves in the ACC Championship game.

Last night LaDexter Strickland and Reggie Bullock paced North Carolina with 15 points apiece as the Heels held off a tough Maryland team 79-76.

The Hurricanes advanced to there first ever trip to the ACC finals by beating North Carolina State 81-71. Miami's Durand Scott was a one man show as he scored a career-high 32 points in the win.

This upcoming title game could be the best one of all in the ACC tourney, and that's saying a lot. On one side you have Miami, who four months ago not many people really believed in, and on the other side you have a team that is deep in winning history, yet wasn't on many experts radar in the 2012-13 season.

The Las Vegas line on today's game has the Hurricanes a slight favorite at -4.

No matter who wins this battle, both of these teams have "Sweet 16" written all over them. Miami is playing incredibly well right now, but my gut says take the points here.

This game may come down to the last shot.

Pick: UNC +4
