2013 Academy Award nominees: 'Lincoln' tops Oscar nominations (Video)

The Academy Award nominations for 2013 are in with a few surprises and a few snubs. The nominations were announced this morning at by Seth MacFarlane and Emma Stone.

The biggest snubs, in my opinion, is the lack of an nomination for "Moonrise Kingdom" in the Best Motion Picture of the Year category and Ben Affleck in the Best Achievement in Directing category. I'm positive that others will express their outrage over the lack of a nomination for "Zero Dark Thirty" in the latter category mentioned above as well.

The biggest surprise nominations from this morning were for Emmanuelle Riva for "Amour" and Quvenzhané Wallis for "Beasts of the Southern Wild." The most interesting tidbit of the aforementioned news is how the two have managed to create a new record for the oldest and youngest best actress nominees.
