The Ontario Fury, the Inland Empire’s newest professional sports franchise, introduced the members of its dance team, the Ladies of Ontario Fury, during a VIP reception at Dave and Busters at the Ontario Mills. A key component to the Ontario Fury in-game entertainment, the Ladies of Fury are an exciting blend of energy, beauty, and talent. Off the field, the dance team members will serve as goodwill ambassadors for the organization and be heavily involved with the team’s community outreach.
Twenty-five ambitious young women auditioned for a role with the dance team during a six-hour process. The final 17 dancers were cut down to the 13 chosen for the team by the judges and a two-day online voting process by fans on Facebook.
“It was great seeing the support our prospective dancers received during the voting process,” Director of Dance Team/Community Relations Lynae de Leon said. “The dance team will become an integral part of our efforts of spreading the word about Ontario Fury soccer to the Inland Empire.”
The 13 members of the 2013-2014 Ladies of Ontario Fury are: Veronica; Christine; Michelle C.; Michelle P.; Jolene; Kaylee; Brittany; Kaitlyn; Erika; Ashley R.; Ashley P.; Stephanie and Sarah.
