2013-14 NFC and AFC Championship Games: Broncos and Seahawks win

After yesterday’s NFC and AFC Championship Games, we now have the stage set for Super Bowl 48 in New Jersey.

In the AFC Championship Game, the visiting New England Patriots fell to the Denver Broncos, 26-16. Peyton Manning threw for 400 yards and two touchdowns. Knowshon Moreno ran for 59 yards on 14 carries and Demaryius Thomas caught seven balls for 134 yards and a touchdown.

In the NFC Championship, the hosting Seattle Seahawks outlasted the San Francisco 49ers, 23-17. Russell Wilson threw for 215 yards and a score. Colin Kapernick led all rushers with 130 yards while Doug Baldwin caught six balls for 66 yards.

As for Super Bowl 48, the game is still 13 days away but that has stopped Las Vegas from giving an early line on the contest. As of this morning, Denver is -1.5 with the over/under set at 47.5 according to Covers.com. AS of now, 70% of voters are taking the Broncos to win by more than a point and a half.
