2012 - The video

Hey all you savvy scene snappers and video vloggers, now that the festivities are over, for most of us anyway, (oh, trust me, there are still some who have their party hats on!), you probably have a smartphone or device literally bursting with photos and video clips that are proverbially perched on your shoulder, whispering incessantly in your ear like a digital demon saying "Creation! We want to live!"

Okay, perhaps not quite that dramatic but you get my meaning. All those photos and video that you took over the course of 2012 and especially the ones taken at the end of the year really need to be organized, tagged, video-filed and shared. Why else do they exist?

So in an effort to help you (cause that's what I do!), in breathing life into your own virtual "Frankenvideo", I wanted to pass on some information that I received from a new friend, Jennifer Jacobson, who works in public relations. She turned me on to a story that is posted on a site called Cloud 9 - The WeVideo Blog.

Rather than rehash what it says I have given you the link which I encourage you to check out. It's full of information about how to create your homage to the year that is gone.

I will tell you a bit about WeVideo. It's a full featured, cloud based photo and video editing machine. And it is awesome. It works on any computer, with any browser using any format. Strap the ravening images down, throw the switch and scream "it's ALIVE!"

But seriously, if you are serious about creating your version of 2012- The video, you need to check out the blog. If you like what you see, you can download a trial version of the service for free right here...

Spend some time, check it out, and bring those memories to virtual life, not in a slow and plodding slideshow way, but in a full motion, media mashed up video!

(just pray the villagers like it lest they come bearing torches!)
