The 2012 Swamp Cabbage Queen and Princess Pageant was held this past weekend in LaBelle, Florida at the LaBelle High School. LaBelle is located due east of Fort Myers.
This year's event was a Mardi Gras Party theme, and the festival itself will begin February 25th!
The Pageant's schedule of events included an opening number in song, crowning of Little Miss and Mr. Contestants, Mardi Gras Party Wear Competition, a special song by 2011 Miss Swamp Cabbage Princess Ashley Curry, talent competition, a song by 2011 Miss Swamp Cabbage Queen Olivia Luckey, evening gown competition, on-stage interviews and more.
The event culminated with the crowning of the 2012 Miss Swamp Cabbage Queen and Princess. Other awards were given as well. Those who won were:

Princess Talent tied - Cassidy Pascher and Suzanna Talada
Queen Talent - Alexa Pena
Queen Photogenic - Marlana Nelson

Princess 2nd Runner Up - Alari Foutch
Princess 1st Runner Up - Suzanna Talada
2012 Princess Winner - Abby Lynn Arnold
Queen 1st Runner Up - Alexa Pena
2012 Queen Winner - Mallory Allen
