Right now, most of us aren't thinking about going to a movie theater. Our hearts go out to those in Colorado. It is also important however, to teach our children not to live in fear. Rave Cinemas are offering free family friendly movies on Monday and Thursday mornings through August. It should help provide us with a setting that makes us feel safe while we enjoy a movie together this summer break.
On Monday August 6th and Thursday August 9th you can gather up the whole gang and head on over to the Howard Hughes center in Culver City. The Rave will be showing screenings of "Shorts". A series of short stories about a magical rock that bounces from person to person granting their wishes and it all comes together to made a wild and weird adventure for the whole town.
Doors open at 9:30 AM and the movie starts at 10:00 AM. Admission is free to see "Shorts" but you will need some money if you would like to visit the concession stand for snacks or their discounted kids pack. Also, $2 cash for parking.
Can't make those times? You can also take the family out to see a new movie for $7 a ticket every day before noon and all day on Tuesdays at The Rave @ Howard Hughes.
