I love the 911. Beautiful car!
I used to have a 92 911 cabriolet back in the the day. Man I miss that car.
Those mirrors blow. 993 = best mirrors ever (well, Ferrari Testarossa had better looking mirrors, but among Porsches...)
They are making it longer and wider? Is this still meant to be a sports car, or a luxo-boat? I like the dimensions of my old 911 just fine.
With each new generation 911 improvements are made. However, I don't care for the Audi 'look' of the front valance...and longer and wider??? From what little I've seen, I think I'll keep my 997 'S'.
Porsche Design & Management needs to get bold and do something new....Porsche has had One Idea for too long. They need to get bold, get new and take some risks....Not redesiging the same front, side profile and rear as they have done on all their cars, the 911 Series..for ever, the Cayman etc. same design, nothing new!
They need to fire the people who are stopping the progress of what could be a Beautiful Contemporary Series of Cars....Lead...Take some risk! Ferrari, Lamborghini, all take risks but not Porsche! Design Cowards!
It is only slighty longer and wider but still this is supposed to be a sports car it cshould be as compact as possible. I agree that the front valance needs to go too.
Doug are you serious? Take some risks? What do you call the Panamera and the Cayanne? Neither Lamborghini or Ferrari has done anything as risky as Porsche.
