The 2012 Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship gets underway in a matter of hours, and it may be safe to say that many golf fans will be checking the scores form across the globe over the scores from right here at home as two major tournaments are about to get under way. The Farmers Insurance Open kicks off tomorrow at 3:00 PM ET in San Diego, but many golf fans will be keeping an eye in the Abu Dhabi classic for one reason - Tiger Woods.
Woods makes his season debut in the 2012 Abu Dhabi championship, and Las Vegas odds makers are expecting Tiger to once again become one of the kings of the golf world. The odds on Tiger to win a major in 2012 are 11/8, in other words it will shock the golf world if he doesn't win a major or two.
"I hope Tiger does good." Mike S. of Berkley said. "I don't care about his personal life, I just would like to see him bounce back and compete again. He was the best golfer for a good five year stretch, it will be interesting to see if he can recapture that magic."
