The need for quality bicycle race officials to ensure the safety and integrity of the races in PA/WV cannot be understated. The need for education of current officials and the opportunity for training new officials begins every year with the PCA official’s clinic. This year’s clinic will be held on 2/12/12 in Bethlehem, PA:

There are so many advantages to becoming an active USAC official and for teams who promote races you can reduce your costs by having club members take the Cat C officials test and work your event. With so many races on the PA/WV calendar with a larger pool of officials it will be easier to ensure safe and fair races. Other benefits include cool blue and khaki uniforms and scolding riders for crumpling their race numbers!
