The Pacific Northwest Sportsmen’s Show, at the Portland Expo Center, begins this Wednesday the 8th and runs through Sunday the 12th. There will be a wide range of hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities promoted at the largest show of its kind west of the Mississippi. Admissions are $12 for adults, $5 for juniors, and children under 5 are free.
There will be seminars held everyday on subjects related to the great outdoors including archery. The date and times for seminars related to archery are as follows.
Wednesday the 8th, Green Theater:
- 12:30 p.m., Dan Kloer – Calling methods for archery and rifle elk.
- 2:30 p.m., Scott Haugen – Trophy Blacktail tactics.
- 6:30 p.m., Glen Berry – Calling and hunting pressured elk in the rut.
Thursday the 9th, Green Theater:
- 12:30 p.m., Glen Berry – Calling and hunting pressured elk in the rut.
- 6:30 p.m., Ed Shelby – Blacktail hunting: Bring them in close.
Friday the 10th, Green Theater:
- 1:30 p.m., Glen Berry – Calling and hunting pressured elk in the rut.
- 2:30 p.m., Scott Haugen – Trophy Blacktail tactics.
- 3:30 p.m., Mike Jenkins – Archery hunting for elk.
- 6:30 p.m., Ed Shelby – Blacktail hunting: Bring them in close.
Saturday the 11th, Green Theater:
- 12:30 p.m., Scott Haugen – Trophy Blacktail tactics.
- 2:30 p.m., Glenn Berry – Calling and hunting pressured elk in the rut.
- 5:30 p.m., Dan Kloer – Calling methods for archery and rifle elk.
Sunday the 12th, Green Theater:
- 12:30 p.m., Ed Shelby – Blacktail hunting: Bring them in close.
- 1:30 p.m., Mike Jenkins – Archery hunting for elk.
- 3:30 p.m., Dan Kloer – Calling methods for archery and rifle elk.
