2012 NFL Mock Draft: Chicago Bears NFC North; 2013 Super Bowl odds

For many NFL fans, this Sunday is the first of many that feels wrong. You wake up, head out on your daily duties, attend church, do some house work, then it happens…1:00 PM EST rolls around and you feel lost! No NFL action. That means the only choice is to look forward to the 2012 NFL Draft this April, and believe it or not, it will be here quick!

Super Bowl 47 odds are already out, and it's never to early to see where your team stands.

“I miss football already, and the Super Bowl was just five days ago!” Bill F. of Royal Oak said. “It will be exciting to watch this year’s draft and see who the teams in our division select.”

The 2012 Chicago Bears know they have to improve, and quick. Being in a division with Green Bay, the upstart Lions, and the always dangerous Vikings, the NFC North is going to be one of the best in 2012.

The Bears offense lacked bite last season, even with starting QB Jay Cutler. Offensive coordinator Mike Martz is out and Mike Tice in. Is that an improvement? With Tice’s background, it appears the Bears will move to more of a running offense, or just go to an old-school style of offense. Either way the Bears need help on both sides of the football.

The Bears have eight picks in the 2012 NFL draft.

Round 1. #19 -- Baylor receiver Kendall Wright or Notre Dame receiver Michael Floyd should be the Bears first round pick. They need someone to catch the ball and open up the offense for Jay Cutler. An aging and overrated Roy Williams is no help for Knox or Hester.

Here are the other selections for Chicago.

Round 2.#18

Round 3.#10 (from Carolina),and #17

Round 4. #16

Round 5. #15

Round 6. #14

Round7. #13

The Bears odds to win Super Bowl XVLII are 30/1. That’s a great price if you think ‘da Bears can be the surprise team in 2012!
