This Bostonian will ruin your day on the track … and do it with the friendliest grin you have ever seen.
Anna is another one of the ‘small but mighty’ ladies who will lure you into a false sense of security with passive blocking, and then will hit you harder than anyone of that height should be able to. Her teamwork on the track make her formidable to break away from, and her awareness of the track is fantastic.
She seems to easily switch between chess PIECE and chess MASTER when she’s pivoting; giving and taking strategy during jams. She is a very smart skater and knows how to capitalize on a calculated risk. Anna is a skater who may not always be the big, flashy playmaker, but if you watch her she has a hand (a booty?) in every important move on the track. She is as forceful with the star as she is with the stripe, and she will get that grand slam before you realize that she didn’t go out of bounds when you pushed her [like you thought she did].
