Palais des congres de Montreal, January 13th, 2012 – The 44th edition of the Montreal International Auto Show (MIAS) is officially open. From January 13th till January 22nd, 2012 you have the chance to take a detailed look at the Canadian automotive market all gathered under one roof. Also you may glance at the exotic rarities, the tuned Performance Zone cars and legendary icons that are highly unlikely to be observed anytime and anywhere else.

There are 40 Canadian and 2 North American premieres confirmed along with several new attractions: the Performance Zone (Level 7) where a stunning collection of about 40 modified vehicles will be on display; the “Legendes de la route” (Level 5) – an exhibit that retraces the evolution of some of the most iconic automobiles ever created, through the presentation of eight amazing models.

The MIAS blood donor clinic, organized together with Hema-Quebec and CTV Montreal, will be held at Complexe Desjardins from Monday, January 16th to Friday, January 20th, 2012. January 16th, 17th and 18th, 2012 have been designated “Pink Days” in support of breast cancer research; during these days MIAS will donate 2 CAD to the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation for every ticket sold to a visitor wearing either a pink garment or pink accessory.

The annual Auto Show Grand Prize is a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. Other prizes include a luxury trip for two to Morocco, gas and insurance vouchers and car accessories.
