2012 Mid-Atlantic All Star South: IM Pain #1618 (Photos)

IM Pain… IM Legend.

Co-Captain of the Charm City Roller Girls, you cannot deny her skills, dedication or resilience. Charm went through a bit of a rough season, but Pain and her team mates dug in and dug deep to achieve what some were calling impossible. It looked like Pain was one of those players out to prove that Charm City had not lost any of its potency or heart, but her goal was to do this with an even temper and with points on the board.

IM Pain is able to dance through packs, push apart opponents and curve through holes for lead status and grand slams. She finds a way to get the job done, and no matter what she never quits. She is an absolute legend on the East Coast at this point, and with good reason. She is consistent, solid, exceptionally lithe and ridiculously responsive. She does not take the bait. She builds the strongest walls and has incredible team work skills. She is a leader. She is an example. She is a skater we all strive to challenge.

IM Pain is one of the most well-rounded skaters I have ever had the privilege of watching. 2013 will be a powerhouse year for Charm City now that they’ve gotten their bumps out of the way. With leaders like IM Pain, they will be dominate in Division 1 play.

She's a hard worker always striving for first place and never wiling to train for anything less. She can simultaneously be a skater, coach, captain, buy a house, adopt a puppy and plan a wedding and work a full time career, at once....enough said. As a captain she's fair, level headed and compassionate. – Holly Go Hardly, Charm City Roller Girls
