The new Mercedes-Benz SLK has been caught in a spy video during road testing in Europe. The new SLK appears to be a smaller version of the popular SLR design combined with the late model SLC Gullwing. This is also rumored to be the last of the large engine Mercedes-Benz sports cars the company will produce. This ecological diet that Mercedes-Benz is introducing into it's line of vehicles may shake the market. To some owners, a Mercedes just isn't a Mercedes with out the large rumble of a big six or eight cylinder engine!
Overall, the SLK appears to handle very well. An optional AMG package will feature the famous 6.2 liter V8 that all Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts envy. This larger motor is typically found in much heavier vehicles. By putting this large V8 in a small SLK, imagine the power possibilities. Aftermarket modifications by Lorinser, Brabus, and various independent tuning shops will be able to create a street monster with the right modifications. The 6.2 liter engine by Mercedes-Benz is a smooth and flawless masterpiece that will go down in history as the last of it's kind.
