Branch Warren wins the 2012 IFBB Arnold Classic for the second year in a row. This is not a surprise, but at the same time, it is. Last year, just four weeks before the Olympia IFBB Pro Branch Warren slipped on wet pavement and tore his quad tendon. It was quite the blow for him, and his fans, because he had no choice but to pull out from the Olympia, the biggest bodybuilding event of the year.
Would Branch Warren be at the 2012 Arnold Classic?
It also left the Arnold Classic event up for questioning. Although Warren stated in several videos that he would participate in the 2012 Arnold Classic, this was not a full guarantee since it takes time for the quad tendon to heal properly. With the amount of strain put on the body from strength training skeptics were not sure if Warren would be on the stage at the Arnold.

However, Warren made it to the Arnold, and once in the lineup it was clear he would be one of the top three competitors. Commentator Shawn Re stated “It does seem pretty clear that Branch Warren has an advantage, at least at this point.” One of the clearest advantages for Warren is his muscle density, which has set him apart from other bodybuilding athletes throughout his career.
