Although CBS will air the 2012 Grammy Awards live this Sunday, TV Guide Channel and E! have the red carpet covered with extensive TV specials, including pre-shows with Chris Harrison from The Bachelor and Ryan Seacrest from American Idol. The two channels are also set to air fashion recaps the day after the Grammys. It all adds up to Grammy excitement for music and TV lovers.
The red carpet action begins at 5/4c on TV Guide Channel when TV personalities Maria Sansone and Tim Cash host Grammy Awards Red Carpet Countdown. The live hour-long show will feature previews, predictions and early red carpet arrivals.
Directly afterwards at 6/5c, Maria and Tim join Chris Harrison from The Bachelor to interview music’s top stars for the live two-hour Grammy Awards Red Carpet with Chris Harrison. Music fans can expect a firsthand account of the red carpet festivities because last year Harrison provided real time updates via Twitter.
Over on E!, Ryan Seacrest and Guiliana Rancic are set to host Live From the Red Carpet. The action begins at 5/4c. Like Harrison, Seacrest will also provide live updates on Twitter.
The night after the 2012 Grammys, host Ali Landry and her team of experts including Tabatha Coffey (Tabatha Takes Over) rate the top outfits on Grammy Awards Fashion Wrap on TV Guide. Highlights include a look at the hair-raising styles of Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna, and country couture worn by Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and others. Fashion Police with Joan Rivers and Kelly Osbourne on E! recalls the best and worst dressed at the 2012 Grammys,

The 54th Annual Grammy Awards airs live from the Staples Center in L.A. on Sunday, February 12th at 8/7c on CBS. A total of 78 awards will be presented following the Academy's decision to restructure the Grammy Award categories. LL Cool J is set to host the show. It's the first time in seven years that the music industry's premier event will have an official host. Performers and presenters represent a who’s who list of the brightest and biggest stars from the music industry.
All eyes will be on Adele, who is set to make her triumphant return to the stage following surgery on her vocal cords. She’s nominated for a total of six Grammys, including nominations for Album of the year and Song of the Year.
