All eyes will be on Adele during the 2012 Grammy Awards because she is set to make her triumphant return to the stage following surgery on her vocal cords. The powerhouse recording artist is nominated for a total of six Grammys, including nominations for Album of the Year and Song of the Year. The British soul singer broke records with her breakthrough second album "21," including the hits "Rolling in the Deep" and "Someone Like You." It is unclear what she will sing Sunday night at the Staples Center. However, there’s no doubt that Adele will be Queen of the Night at the 2012 Grammys.

At the 2011 Grammy Awards, Justin Bieber rocked out with buddy Jaden Smith and mentor Usher. He was nominated for two Grammys, but lost in both categories. Surprisingly, the pop superstar was not nominated for a Grammy Award in 2012.

Katy Perry has been nominated for two 2012 Grammy Awards in the categories of Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance. She is set to perform during the 2012 Grammy Awards and yesterday she tweeted that viewers are in for a surprise. “Just finished rehearsals for Grammys… I’m. so. excited. #somethingscooking.”
