The most popular event in Cherokee County since 1994 will return Tuesday, February 7 from 9 am to 3 pm at Western Iowa Tech Community College Conference Center in Cherokee, Iowa. The Cherokee County Ag Show is a great way for farmers to stay informed of new farming innovations.

Private pesticide applicators needing to attend a Continuing Instruction Course to re-certify will have an opportunity at 9:30 am Attendees will need to arrive 20-30 minutes early to register. Registration fee is $20.
Over 50 display booths will be on hand, and proceeds from the booth fees go to an Ag-scholarship program. One scholarship is awarded to each of the Cherokee area schools to a student who is going to pursue an Ag-related course of study.
Renee Sweers an ISU Extension & Outreach Family Nutrition & Health Program Specialist will present two programs on eating smarter and better.
From noon to 1 pm a FREE lunch will be provided by area sponsors.
At 2:00 pm featured speaker Elwynn Taylor will discuss current weather patterns and the 2012 growing season.
