Typically most bridal gowns come in shades of white, cream and ivory but the hottest new trend is all about the color blush. This color is a delicate shade of pale pink with peach undertones and is generally very flattering and feminine without being childish and barbie-esque. Blush is not to be confused with baby pink, pastel pink or the bubble gum pink dress worn by Jordan at her first wedding. Several designers incorporated blush colored gowns and accessories in their Fall 2011 and Spring 2012 bridal collections. At first it seemed as though, the blush colored gowns were runway pieces that wouldn’t be popular for real life brides, but already the blush colored Vera Wang WHITE gown at David’s Bridal has been a bit hit among brides.
It is clear that more and more brides are getting braver and bolder with their wedding gown choices, and no better way to start than by try on a blush gown or at least blush accessories. The slideshow below shows a range of blush wedding gowns, to see the full line up visit Down The Aisle.
