2012 Academy Award nominations announced

Nominations were announced today for the 84th Academy Awards. Martin Scorsese's Hugo led the way with 11 nominations, followed by The Artist with 10 nominations. Moneyball earned 6 noms, while The Descendants, War Horse, Midnight in Paris, and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo earned 5 nominations each.

The winners will be presented at the Kodak Theater on Sunday, February 26, 2012; Billy Crystal will host.
