2012-13 NCAA Basketball season: No. 1 Michigan @ No. 3 Indiana preview

Tomorrow night, the No. 3 Indiana Hoosiers welcome in the No. 1 Michigan Wolverines in a heavyweight battle.

Records: Michigan 20-1 (7-1 in Big Ten), No. 3 Indiana 19-2 (7-1 in Big Ten)

Kick-off: 9 p.m. EST

Television: ESPN

Spread: OFF

Over/under: OFF

Last meeting: Michigan 68, Indiana 56 (2012)

Points per game: The Wolverines are averaging 78 points per game while Indiana is averaging 84.

Rebounds per game: Michigan averages 36.7 boards per outing while the Hoosiers are averaging 40.3 rebounds per game.

Assists per game: The Wolverines are putting up 15.5 assists per outing while Indiana is averaging 16 per game.

Field goal percentage: Michigan is shooting .510 while the Hoosiers come in shooting .500 this season.

Thoughts: The Wolverines are coming off a win over Northwestern while Indiana took care of in-state rival Purdue in their last contest. When the spread comes out, I expect Indiana to be favored by at least 2.5. After a close game, look for the Hoosiers to pull out the win as the atmosphere will prove to be just a little too much for Michigan.
