Tonight, the Miami Heat will welcome in the Portland Trail Blazers in an inter-conference contest.

Records: Portland 25-26, Miami 34-14

Kick-off: 7:30 p.m. EST

Television: NBA TV

Spread: Miami by 11.5

Over/under: 199.5

Last meeting: Portland 92, Miami 90 (2013)

Points per game: The Trail Blazers are averaging 97.2 points per game while Miami is averaging 102.8.

Rebounds per game: Portland averages 41.9 boards per outing while the Heat are averaging 38.9 rebounds per game.

Assists per game: The Trail Blazers are putting up 21.4 assists per outing while Miami is averaging 22.3 per game.

Points allowed per game: Portland is giving up 99.3 points per outing while the Heat have allowed 96.6 points on average this season.

Thoughts: The Blazers are coming off a loss to the Orlando Magic while Miami defeated the Los Angeles Lakers over the weekend. The Heat are very tough to beat at home as I see them winning this game. With that said, I think it will be somewhat close so I’ll take Portland with the points as well as the over.
