2012-13 AFC Wild Card preview: Indianapolis @ Baltimore

The Baltimore Ravens will welcome in the Indianapolis Colts this Sunday for an AFC Wild Card battle.

Records: Indianapolis 11-5, Baltimore 10-6

Kick-off: 1 p.m. EST

Television: CBS

Spread: Baltimore by 7

Over/under: 47

Last meeting: Baltimore 24, Indianapolis 10 (2011)

Passing: The Colts are averaging 258 yards per game while Baltimore is putting up 233.7 per game.

Rushing: Indianapolis is averaging 104.4 yards per outing while the Ravens are averaging 118.8 yards per contest.

Passing yards against per game: The Colts are averaging 236.8 yards against per outing while Baltimore averages 228.1 yards against per game.

Rushing yards against per game: Indianapolis is averaging 137.5 yards against per game; meanwhile the Ravens are averaging 122.8 yards against per outing.

Thoughts: The Colts took down the Houston Texans to end the regular season while the Ravens fell to the Cincinnati Bengals. With Ray Lewis hanging up his cleats after this season, I expect that to give Baltimore an emotional boost. The Ravens win here and cover. In addition, I’d take the over in this AFC match-up.
