2012-13 AFC Wild Card preview: Cincinnati @ Houston (Video)

In a rematch from last year’s AFC Wild Card clash, the Houston Texans welcome in the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday afternoon.

Records: Cincinnati 10-6, Houston 12-4

Kick-off: 4:30 p.m. EST

Television: NBC

Spread: Houston by 4.5

Over/under: 43

Last meeting: Houston 31, Cincinnati 10 (2011-12 Wild Card game)

Passing: The Bengals are averaging 223.6 yards per game while Houston is putting up 239.4 per game.

Rushing: Cincinnati is averaging 109.1 yards per outing while the Texans are averaging 132.7 yards per contest.

Passing yards against per game: The Bengals are averaging 212.5 yards against per outing while Houston averages 225.8 yards against per game.

Rushing yards against per game: Cincinnati is averaging 107.2 yards against per game; meanwhile the Texans are averaging 97.5 yards against per outing.

Thoughts: The Bengals are coming off a win over the Baltimore Ravens while Houston fell to the Indianapolis Colts to end the regular season. The Texans limped to the finish line this season while the Bengals have been hitting on all cylinders. I like the Bengals with the upset so I’d take them with the points as well as the under.
