2011 Storytellers Arts & Media Conference announces date and purpose

On October 9, 2011 The Storytellers Arts & Media Conference announces that their event will be held on November 4 - 5, 2011 in Naples, Florida. Its purpose will be to motivate participants to use their creativity to tell the story of the Gospel.

The media conference will be held in Naples at the new Worship Center at Covenant Presbyterian Church of Naples/PCA. The conference includes inspirational speakers, a film festival, arts expo and breakout sessions on worship and the arts, media, culture and audiovisual production, led by experienced professionals in the ministry and industry.

Registration is $60 per person with Group and Student discounts offered. Registration includes all conference events, breakout sessions, an Evening of Worship & Arts and and art expo. One can register at www.create210.com.

Among the guest speakers is actor/screenwriter Peter Parros, whose credits include stage, screen and television, including his nearly decade-long portrayal of Dr. Ben Harris on As the World Turns.

Other presenters include songwriter and recording artist Martha Christian, C.S. Lewis Professor Dr. Jerry Root of Wheaton College in Illinois, self-professed Christian and media geek James Harleman of Mars Hill Church with eight locations in Washington state, Jim Krueger - Storyteller writer and filmmaker, Miami’s own Norton Rodriguez - filmmaker and producer, plus Dr. Bob Petterson - author, senior pastor of Covenant Church and past president of Mastermedia International (a ministry to film and television executives in Hollywood and New York City).
