Disney Parks Blog has announced dates and tickets prices for Mickey’s Halloween Party, the annual holiday event that takes place at Disneyland park. Tickets went on sale July 1, 2011.
Among the highlights of the Disneyland Halloween party, which is an after-hours park event, are the Halloween Screams fireworks shown only during the event as well as the opportunity to experience almost all Disneyland attractions. The 13-minute themed nighttime spectacular revolves around the Disney villains and their music.
The family-friendly evening also includes trick-or-treat stations, appearances by Disney Villains, and the twice-nightly Mickey’s Party Cavalcade. Also part of the fun at Disney characters in costumes, as well as Disneyland guests, dance parties, and character photo locations featuring favorite Disney and Pixar pals.
Of special note are two holiday overlays on Disneyland E-ticket attractions. Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy transforms the dark roller coaster into a frightfully fun ride. Ghost riders that fly through the galaxy, attempting to “grab” riders guests from their seats. Meanwhile, Haunted Mansion Holiday updates the ride-through attraction with decorative touches of the “Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas” gang.
2011 Mickey's Halloween Party dates and times
Mickey’s Halloween Party takes place on select Mondays, Tuesdays and Friday as well as Halloween night.
2011 dates: Sept. 30 and Oct. 3, 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, 25, 28, and 31.
Guests who attend the party are given wristbands and are permitted to enter Disneyland early, before the park closes for the party and to general-admission guests. Mickey’s Halloween Party guests may enter the parks at these times:
- On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Halloween night, the party runs from 6:00 – 11:00 p.m. Guests with tickets may enter Disneyland starting at 3:00 p.m.
- On Fridays, Mickey’s Halloween Party runs between 7:00 p.m. and midnight, and guests may enter starting at 4:00 p.m.

There are various ticket prices for Mickey’s Halloween Party, dependent on event dates, advance purchase and discounts available to some Disney guests. Children ages two and under do not require tickets.
Mickey’s Halloween Party on Sept. 30 and on Oct, 3, 11, 18 and 25.
- $44 per person, advance purchase for Annual Passholders, DVC Members, Visa Cardholders
- $49 per person, advance purchase for the members of the general public
- $59 per person, day of event tickets
Mickey’s Halloween Party on Oct. 7, 4 and 21
- All tickets: $59 per person
Mickey’s Halloween Party on Oct. 28 and 31
- All tickets: $64 per person
