The 2011 Infinity G37 Coupe gets a few enhancements this year after receiving significant changes for the previous model year. This week we’ll be testing out one of those enhancements being the Sport Package with AWD and see how the all-wheel-drive performs with the snow here in Denver this past week.
The G37 Coupe model with the Sport Package adds an enhanced performance look, with a unique front fascia and standard 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with high performance tires and looks good with the Vibrant Red exterior paint.
The 2011 G37 Coupe offers a blend of handsome looks, strong performance, high-tech features and enticing pricing. This week we’ll be checking out the powerful V6 engine here at Denver’s high altitude, and see how much driving entertainment it provides.
Inside, the perforated leather seats in the G37 sport are comfortable, have more adjustment and bigger bolsters on the back and bottom cushions and will contain the driver during spirited driving. The three-spoke steering wheel is wrapped in hand-stitched perforated leather, with audio and cruise control buttons on its spokes. Optional paddle shifters for the automatic transmission are magnesium, and they are attached to the column and not the wheel so their position never changes.
Rear headroom and legroom are compromised in the Coupe due to its sporty stature. The rear seat is suitable only for kids or smaller adults. Access in the coupe is eased by a power walk-in device with position memory. The front seatbacks tilt forward with a lever and then move forward automatically at the touch of a button to ease entry/exit.
The coupe doesn’t get much trunk space with 7.4 cubic feet and no hatchback versatility. A folding rear seatback improves things by allowing larger items to flow from the trunk into the passenger space.
